Srinagar :A low intensity earthquake occurred in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, reports said.

The earthquake, measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale, was felt at 9.52 a.m.

The quake had its epicentre in J&K region and it originated at a depth of 15 km inside the earth, a Met official said.

There were, however, no reports of any damage.
