Kashmir Youth Entrepreneurs Federation (KYEF) has welcomed the approval of all benefits to J&K given to the Northeastern States under North East Industrial Development Scheme by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Government of India .
In a statement, KYEF President Babar Chowdhary said new scheme which has been in vogue in NE states will help JK’s economic sectors.
He said the benefits given to the Northeast were not extended to Jammu and Kashmir earlier.
KYEF hailed Governor Satya Pal Malik for his efforts and convincing Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Government of India for approving extension of the benefits of the Northeast Industrial Development Package to Jammu and Kashmir as well.
He said the schemes will also help youth entrepreneurs to invest in various sectors which would help bring growth to industrial sector and decrease the alarming rate of unemployment in the State.
Babar said youth are the engines of the growth who need to be promoted through incentive schemes under current circumstance which are not favorable for investment.
“Such incentive schemes will lure youth of the State to invest in various economic sectors. This will also help in generating huge employment and bring development to the State,” he said.
Joint Secretary General Zuhaib Shah said new incentive schemes for the investment in economic sector will attract youth to setting up their own business units.
