Srinagar, Dec 1:

To inculcate concept of  entrepreneurship among students, one day mela, “JIDDAT” under the banner of “Start-up Kashmir” was organised by Dean Students Welfare at Syed Mirak Shah Kashani Students Facilitation Centre (SMSK SFC), SKUAST-K, Shalimar on Saturday. 

Students of various Faculties established stalls under Sizzling grills, Smokey Barbeques, Sweet tooth, Food fantasy, Mazze balai, Momo-hut, Harisa and Noon chai and Madur te Myeouth where traditional & local cuisines viz Harissa, Doodh Kehwa, Kashmiri Anchaar, Walnut Tart, Barbeques, Momos, Chicken rools, Gajar ka halwa, Fried fish, Gulab jamun, Ras malai, Apple halwa etc that were  put on sale by the students.

The mela wore a festive look in which buying and selling of the various cuisines prepared by the students was seen.
