Career Counseling and Placement Centre (CCPC) of Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, SKUAST-K Shuhama today organized a Counseling Session for Veterinary Graduates who in recently held ICAR PG Scholarship Examination secured very good ranks.

Professor Azmat Alam Khan, Co-ordinator CCPC in a statement informed that as many as 18 students of FVSc & AH have secured ranks below 50. The ranks secured by students include 2, 5, 8, 12, 20 in open merit, 1, 2 and 3 in reserved categories.

During the Counseling session held today, students were guided on various aspects of exercising the choice of Subject and Institution so that maximum candidates could bag PG fellowship and secure admission in the top Institution.

The students who secured good rank in last year’s ICAR PG Scholarship examination and had firsthand experience of new scheme of online counseling procedure adopted by ICAR were invited to share their experience and guide the students. The statement further said that last SKUAST-K bagged the 2nd prize in terms of the number of PG Scholarships secured by its graduates in the field of Veterinary Sciences and Fisheries.
