Ziraat Times Weather Monitoring

Srinagar, April 13: Heavy rainfall in the plains of Kashmir valley and snowfall in mountains across Pirpanjal, South-East mountain ranges in Kashmir, Jammu winter zone and Ladakh are likely on Tuesday and Wednesday coming week.

According to Ziraat Times weather monitoring, a very large cloud system is likely to engulf J&K, whole of North India, North East Pakistan and eastern Afghanistan, which, as per the data available, would result in heavy rainfall and snowfall across the region on 16 and 17 April.

During the two days, snowfall is likely across Pirpanjal mountain range, upper parts of Gurez, Sonamarg-Gund valley, parts of Pahalgam, upper South Kashmir areas of Kaprin, Upper Aharbal, Upper Kishtwar and Bhaderwah areas.

Snowfall is likely across the mountains of Ladakh and parts of Zanaskar as well.

Heavy rainfall is likely across plains of Jammu province during the two days.

This particular spell, as per the data analysed by Ziraat Times, indicates a big drop in both daytime and night temperatures because of the enormity of the weather system that is likely to form on 16th and 17th over J&K.

Most parts of North India, including Punjab, Delhi and parts of northern Pakistan and Pak-Administered Kashmir will also experience heavy rainfall.
