According to information made available by District Horticulture Officer Kupwara, Z. A. Bhat, latest test reports received from various testing laboraties suggest that some batches of following pesticides, otherwise duly recommended in their spray schedule, have been declared misbranded.
Farmers have been advised to avoid use of these pesticides in their orchards.
1.Captaf (Rallis india Ltd)
2. Avtar (Indifill Industries Ltd).
3. Roger (Chemenova india Ltd)
4.Maiden ( Biostadt india Ltd)
5. Macoban (Adama Ltd)
Although no specific batch numbers of the misbranded pesticides were initially provided, a document has now been made available by the Horticulture Department to Ziraat Times and is being reproduced here.
